Volcanes Commons was built at a prime location on Glenrio Road NW and 72nd Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico with easy access to Interstate 40. Pavilion Construction and Architects Dekker/Perich/Sabatini worked closely together to create this cost-effective housing option that gives the citizens of Bernalillo County the highest quality and affordable living spaces possible. The affordable housing complex showcases multi-colored stucco siding paired with corrugated metal siding, creating an eye-catching and contemporary community. It consists of 198 units, with 100% affordability, LEED Platinum Certification, and has a family friendly environment.

The 198 units in the three-story apartment complex range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. The interiors of each unit offer air conditioning, washer and dryer, private balconies with locked storage, pantries and full appliance packages in each kitchen. The exterior and surroundings consist of sidewalks throughout the complex, outdoor picnic and seating areas, fenced swimming pool area, highly visible play areas, 28 spacious garages, 87 carports, 391 parking stalls, rolling entry gates at both parking lot entries and a walkable site with close access to local schools.
